A central feature of the StreamCenter control panel is our Dynamic Linking
System (DLS). This technology revolutionizes the process of linking to
and receiving media files. Here's how it works:
When a request for a media file is received, the DLS server automatically
learns what type of media is being requested and where the file is located.
The DLS server then routes the request to the fastest, most readily available
streaming server. The end-user result: the consumer receives the media
file over the fastest streaming server.
DLS technology also takes the guesswork out of linking streaming media
files into web sites or embedding into emails. It does this by automatically
generating pointer files. Pointer files tell media players where to find
the requested media file. The end result: you don't need to be a streaming
media expert to share media via the web.
StreamCenter and DLS technology are powerful, easy-to-use tools that
put you in control of your streaming media.
